Casa Armando Mezcal is the result of the ambitions of several generations of a family driven by passion, strong family values, and a rich cultural heritage combined with a profound connection to the region of Oaxaca.
Casa Armando Mezcales makes a point of producing in an eco-responsible manner in order to reduce its carbon footprint. For example, rain water is collected for irrigation throughout the different plantations and to supplement certain water flows. The company also installed many solar panels to support their sustainable production methods and to add a new source of thermal energy. Some of the agave plants are cultivated in greenhouses to guarantee their organoleptic qualities and to preserve the full biodiversity of this ingredient. All of these measures are certified by the Mexican Ministry of the Environment.
